MY PET BIRD!

This is my budgie.... ^^



His name is Truffle, the cutest budgie ever!!! Here's his story...

We first bought him when he was maybe 1 half- 1 month old, because I was nervous all of the time and just needed a pet. As soon as I saw him at the shop, I could almost feel a connection between us, so we bought him and put him in a box to take home- he was clearly uncomfortable on the way home. =s He kept sticking his beak through the holes in the box, trying to get out. Of course, once he was home, he was nervous and still. We had placed some millet as a treat next to Truffle in his cage, and he soon began to eat it, and after a few days, he was singing and hopping around the cage. We no longer needed to be quiet all the time. Maybe after a week, he let us pat him and he would hop onto my shoulder. There was one thing though- all of a sudden, Truffle got sick. He was vomiting and his poop was kinda gross.=s He was also very sluggish. We took him to the vet, and as it turns out, he could have had a human sickness like the flu. We had to force feed him medicine for a while, which made him a little nervoud around us, but now Truffle is fine. He is 6 months old, and says "Hello," and "Good, good budgie." (o__o)
